STOP ASIAN HATE CRIMES
Asian Americans have been the target of harrasment during the
coronavirus pandemic.
The FBI defines a hate crime as a, "criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender’s bias against a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, or gender identity."
Since the spread of coronavirus to the United States, Asian Americans have been shunned, verbally abused, coughed and spat on, and physically assaulted.
"In New York, all 15 coronavirus-related hate crimes investigated by NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force have been directed at Asian victims," according to NYPD detective Annette Shelton.
President Trump repeatedly uses the term, "Chinese Virus." He is using Asians as a scapegoat to cover up his cover up his horrible handeling of the coronavirus pandemic and the racism and violence against African Americans in law enforcement.
